I have Vista Ultimate 64 bit , and the latest version of Windows Movie Maker , i want to edit my GoPro videos from my Hero 3+ , which is in MP4 format , Movie Maker says its not supported when i try to import the video , it says to get codecs , but it does not show where or how to get the codecs or how to install them , but i have seen posts all over these forums that say that it should play MP4's
It says it supports MP4's right in this Microsoft link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/movie-maker-file-types-faq , but mine says it does NOT have the codec for MP4's , so i am confused , and it does not auto download one like everything says it should , and no one seems to ever post a link on where to get the codec and how to install it
